HotelTonight – Book Your Palm Beach Hotel Today

Picture sparkling sandy beaches lined with palm trees and water so bright and blue that it looks fake – that's Palm Beach, Florida, one of the most breathtakingly beautiful beach destinations I've ever visited. The best part is that my trip to this enviable beach destination wasn't supposed to happen in the first place. I was in Miami on business for a couple of weeks, and while I loved the culture and the vibrant energy of Miami, I had a sudden craving for a calmer Florida beach town. As I sat there daydreaming of beautiful sandy beaches and a laidback beach town atmosphere, I decided to act. Without hesitating, I made a split-second decision to drive up to Palm Beach and pulled up the HotelTonight app on my phone to search for Palm Beach hotels. After just a couple minutes browsing HotelTonight's Palm Beach hotels, I found the perfect little retreat for my spur-of-the-moment beach getaway. I booked the hotel from the convenience of my phone, and just like that I was ready to escape the mayhem of the city and escape to the beautiful coastal town of Palm Beach.

The Waterway

One of the most unique features of Palm Beach that sets it apart from other Florida beach towns is the Intracoastal Waterway, a canal that stretches all the way from Massachusetts to Florida. Obviously, I wasn't going to take a boat all the way up to Massachusetts, but I did want to explore the canal in Palm Beach, so I decided to charter a boat and head out on the water. I figured this was one of the best ways to get to know the city from the get-go, and I got a great feel for the layout (and the jaw-dropping natural beauty) of the town while I cruised the Waterway.

Worth Avenue

Palm Beach has a reputation for being an upscale beach destination, so naturally it boasts quite an impressive shopping street – Worth Avenue. This iconic retail street is lined with palm trees and upscale boutiques, so it's a fun street to wander if you want to experience the ritzy shopping area of Palm Beach. Whether you want to window shop or actually shop, Worth Avenue is well worth a trip when you're in this beautiful Florida beach town.

Clematis Street

While actually located in West Palm Beach, I decided to check out Clematis Street while in Palm Beach at the advice of some locals. Clematis Street is considered the historic heart of West Palm's downtown district, but it's also the hotspot for entertainment and nightlife. This is where locals and visitors alike go to find great restaurants and bars, and it always seems lively and bustling when the sun goes down. I wanted to check out the local nightlife scene in Palm Beach, so I made my way to Clematis Street and got to see some great live music and meet some friendly locals who were more than happy to offer me suggestions of things to do in their lovely town

Lake Worth

Lake Worth is a small, charming town that was just a short drive away from my Palm Beach hotel. A few locals mentioned that Lake Worth was a charming little town that was worth a visit, so I hopped in the car and drove fifteen minutes to this quaint Florida town. The historic downtown is like an artist's dream. It has a bohemian, creative vibe, and it's packed with music venues, art galleries, performing arts venues and restaurants, so I was thrilled to experience the town's art scene. It was actually here in Lake Worth where I picked up some of the most unique souvenirs from my entire Florida trip.

The Beach

Of course, I couldn't go to Palm Beach, Florida without spending some significant time at the beach. I quickly discovered that the hardest part about going to the beach in Palm Beach is actually deciding which beach to visit. There are 47 miles of stunning coastline in the Palm Beach area, and you really can't go wrong no matter which beach you choose. Every beach boasts long stretches of white sand and gorgeous aquamarine water, but there are some beaches that are more popular than others, such as North Palm Beach and Lake Worth Beach. However, I found that you really can't go wrong with the gorgeous beaches in Palm Beach.
