HotelTonight – Cape Cod Hotels In Minutes

I had never been to Cape Cod. I had always heard about it from family and friends and was told that it was a place I simply had to see at some point in my life. I had reached a certain point in my life when such a trip was possible. The only catch was that the opportunity to travel there arose at the last minute, so I needed to organize my plans as quickly as possible. I found a last-minute flight that was affordable enough, so I booked it. All I needed to do now was find a Cape Cod hotel room. I've booked hotel rooms over the Internet in the past, and it can take some time to get that done. I grabbed my phone and started to look for apps that would help me find accommodations that would work for me.

I found an app called HotelTonight. It provided a lot of options for Cape Cod hotel rooms, which was impressive enough. I chose one that looked right for me, and took a deep breath to prepare myself for what I assumed would be an arduous booking process. I was wrong about that. HotelTonight had me all set with a room within a couple of minutes, and it was completely free of hassle or stress. I was finally doing it – I was going to Cape Cod to see what there is to see and to experience what there is to experience. I had a few places I wanted to visit, and I was extremely excited when I got there. I knew exactly where to start.

Provincetown

I started on the northern tip of the cape. There is an awful lot of history here. Provincetown is where the Mayflower landed in 1620, and there is a monument here commemorating it. I took a long look at that and then strolled into the Provincetown Museum nearby. It immediately became clear that this was sort of an enclave for artists, and there are a lot of different options for those who want to purchase some of this work. The overall landscape and the scenery were stunning to say the least, as this seaside town was not like anything I had ever seen.

Chatham

I moved to the south a bit and stopped in Chatham, a town of approximately 6,000 people. This is a beach town. Lighthouse Beach is a landmark here, and it's well known to people from all over. As is common with towns on Cape Cod, the lighthouse here is another landmark, and I appreciated its beauty for a while. From there, I made my way to the very interesting Chatham Railroad Museum. It was full of pieces that brought you back to another time. I decided to take a bit of a break and enjoyed a very nice cup of coffee at a local café.

Yarmouth Port

I continued to work my way westward and stopped in a community known as Yarmouth Port. There is another iconic beach here, known as Gray's Beach, and I completely lost myself in thoughts as I strolled down the sand and listened to the waves. I walked into the main part of the community, as it was time for lunch, and I was ravenous. There was a great local tavern/restaurant establishment here, and I decided to go with the fish and chips. It was an enormous portion, and it was also delicious. I was more than satisfied and ready to move on to the next stops.

Sandwich

Sandwich is a bigger community than the Yarmouth Port, as there are more than 20,000 residents here. It still has that small-town, New England feel to it, though, and I found that extremely alluring. I've always been a fan of blown glass, and there's a glass museum here that I walked through and enjoyed immensely. There's also a breathtaking boardwalk that allows you to walk near and even over water. I spent some time here and spoke with some locals about my day. They were all very friendly and enjoyed my first-time perspective regarding Cape Cod.

Woods Hole

Woods Hole is actually a part of a town known as Falmouth, and it is the quintessential seaside town in New England. Its port is lined with New England style homes and boats of all shapes and sizes. I couldn't believe all the scenery I had taken in already that day, and I couldn't believe how big my appetite had gotten. I really wanted some local cuisine, and found a place that served everything I could've asked for. The bowl of clam chowder would've probably been enough for me, but I couldn't resist the plate of seafood that was staring at me afterward. It was delicious and oh-so filling.

HotelTonight – Cape Cod Hotels Available

As I headed back to my hotel, I thought about all that I had gotten to see and do that day. It was quite an experience, and one that I was very happy with myself for taking advantage of the opportunity when it arose. I was also happy that I found HotelTonight. This is an app that provides you with prime choices for Cape Cod hotels, and you don't have to worry about how long it's going to take to book a room. You also don't have to worry about booking a hotel room in Cape Cod – or anywhere else – at the last minute, as this is what HotelTonight does. I had no trouble falling asleep in my comfortable room after such a nice day.
