HotelTonight – Find a Hotel in Southeast Boise
Recently, I found myself in Southeast Boise for a day with an open schedule and was looking to explore the neighborhood to see what Southeast Boise had to offer. Thanks to the HotelTonight app, I knew that I would be able to book a hotel with no trouble, which left me free to enjoy a great day in the Southeast Boise area. I found out that Southeast Boise had so much to offer, it was one of the most enjoyable trips I've ever taken.
The Area
The Southeast Boise area spans a large part of the city and goes from the Boise State University campus and the area south of the university. The neighborhood is a mix of trendy areas with shops and then spots with more modern-looking buildings. It is one of the coolest areas of the city and has so much to offer. In addition to trendy shops, the Southeast Boise neighborhood is near the river and is just a short drive from the great outdoors. All of this comes together to make Southeast Boise a great place to visit.
Things to Do
There are so many great things to do in the Southeast Boise area from taking in a football game on the campus of Boise State University to visiting one of the great local shops around town. During my day, I visited a gorgeous park in the heart of the neighborhood. I also was able to do some shopping and spent the afternoon wandering up and down the streets of Southeast Boise. There is also are a number of great activities always going on at the BSU campus. When I was there, I visited an awesome art exhibit on campus.
The Food
As I was wandering around the neighborhood, I noticed a lot of fantastic-looking restaurants. I asked around and was led to a great diner in the heart of Southeast Boise. I ordered a soup and sandwich combo which was delicious. It tasted as if everything had been made for me just minutes earlier. The whole meal was perfect. After eating, I stopped at a local ice cream place for dessert. It was a great way to cap off a wonderful dinner. The homemade ice cream alone is nearly worth a trip to Boise. I'll be stopping there again on my next trip to the city.
