While visiting Boise for a work trip, I found myself with a free day and decided to explore a part of the city I hadn't been in before. I drove to the Northwest Boise neighborhood and was looking forward to seeing what the city has to offer. I knew I wouldn't have a problem finding a place to stay thanks to the HotelTonight app. I couldn't wait to see all that there was to do in Northwest Boise.
The Area
The Northwest Boise neighborhood is located near the Boise foothills, which gives it a great view. The area features a great mix of older and newer areas and buildings. The Northwest Boise area also features a private lake in one of the neighborhoods. The area also is close to the downtown area and near the scenic Boise Greenbelt. All of this comes together to make the Northwest Boise area one of the most exciting and trendy areas in Boise. I quickly found out that the Northwest Boise area had so much to see and do, it's a great destination.
Things to Do
The neighborhood features so many attractions and things to do, it's impossible to do it all in one day. I visited a beautiful local park and then made a trip to the great Boise Zoo. I also visited a local museum which is dedicated to the history of the Basque people and their connection to Boise. I also spent some time wandering around the neighborhood and saw so many cool shops. It seemed like there was something for everyone to do in Northwest Boise. It quickly has become one of my favorite places in the city of Boise.
The Food
I was blown away at how many great places to eat the Northwest Boise area had. I wandered around the streets looking at all the restaurants the neighborhood had to offer. I asked around, looking for a great place to eat and was led to a local grill. The restaurant had so many delicious looking items on the menu. I ended up getting some wings, which were so good, I ate way too much. I will be sure to come back to that grill during my next trip to Boise. After a great day in the city and a wonderful meal, I was ready to get some rest.
