HotelTonight – Hotels in Pahrump
Recently I was driving through Nevada and was feeling like I needed a break from the long drive, so I decided to pull off the road and spend a day in Pahrump. I'd never been to Pahrump before, but as I pulled into town off the highway, I thought it looked like a great place to spend the day. I knew I wouldn't have a problem finding a place to stay thanks to the HotelTonight app, which left me free to enjoy a fun day.
The Area
Pahrump is located in Nye County in southern Nevada. The town is in the Mojave Desert and is surrounded by some beautiful country. Pahrump is just over an hour away from Las Vegas and is a great place to visit when in southern Nevada. I was excited to see what Pahrump had to offer and couldn't wait to spend a day relaxing in Pahrump.
Things to Do
The town of Pahrump is filled with great things to see and do. After arriving in town, I heard about a place where you can go standup paddleboarding and decided to check it out. It was a lot of fun. I'd never done it before, but the staff made me feel comfortable and had a great time. After that, I decided to head over to the Pahrump Valley Museum and get a taste of the history of the local area. I had a great time at the museum and was amazed at the items in the museum. Members of the local community have donated items to the museum over the years, and it really captures a great picture of the history of Pahrump. Despite being a small town, Pahrump has a lot of history.
The Food
I was feeling hungry after my day in Pahrump and wanted to get something to eat. I noticed on my way into town that there was a restaurant at the Pahrump Valley Winery and decided to head there for dinner. I was so glad I did because the food was amazing. I started my meal off with bacon wrapped shrimp, then had mushroom ravioli that was to die for. The whole meal was perfect and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. I'll be sure to eat here again the next time I find myself in Pahrump.

After I finished dinner, I was feeling ready to get some rest and unwind. I opened up the HotelTonight app and was able to book a great hotel room in just a few minutes.
