HotelTonight – Moses Lake Washington Hotels

Moses Lake is a city in central Washington that is known for its beautiful blue lake and great variety of outdoors recreation. The locals of Moses Lake love their city because it offers a certain type of lifestyle – a laidback atmosphere, tight-knit community and a great offering of things to do and see. While I was driving through the state of Washington, I decided to make a pit stop so that I could spend some time by Moses Lake. It was a hot summer, and I wanted to enjoy a day or two boating in one of the most popular lakes in the state, so I hurried and booked a last-minute hotel in Moses Lake. To book my Moses Lake hotel, I simply checked out HotelTonight's selection of hotels on the app. A few minutes later, I had a great hotel room waiting for me in Moses Lake, and I was ready to explore this small city in central Washington.

The Lake

The city of Moses Lake is built around the lake, and this picturesque body of water is arguably the center of life and activity in this city. During the summer months, people travel from all over Washington to enjoy a weekend at the lake, where you can go boating, jet skiing and fishing. With so many water sports available in Moses Lake, you definitely won't be bored if you visit Moses Lake when the weather is nice.

Arts and Entertainment

When I first arrived in Moses Lake, I assumed it was a small city that didn't have much of an arts or entertainment scene. I was quickly proven wrong, though. Moses Lake offers several museums, art galleries and performing arts venues, so you can find plenty of great art, culture and entertainment in the area. And, of course, the famous Gorge Amphitheater is a short drive away, and locals take trips to the Gorge to catch some of the hottest concerts in the state.

Parks

Another reason why Moses Lake offers such a high quality of life is because of its great array of public parks. I noticed that locals love to make use of their parks, which offer great running and walking trails, playgrounds and picnic areas. Some of my favorite parks in Moses Lake are Blue Heron Park, Cascade Park and Gillette Park, but there are still dozens more to visit in the city.
