HotelTonight – Book Your Fredericksburg Texas Hotel Tonight

Located in the picturesque Texas Hill Country, Fredericksburg is one of the state's most underrated gems. This lovely town is chock-full of old Western charm and character, and it's a popular destination for other Texans looking for a weekend of relaxation, fun and entertainment. Despite the fact that Fredericksburg is a small town, there's a surprising amount to do and see here, and I was lucky enough to discover this in person. I only had two days to explore Fredericksburg, and I didn't get to see nearly as much as I wanted to. However, I did get a great feel for the heart and soul of this pretty Texas town, and I can't wait to return one day in the future. To book my hotel in Fredericksburg for my spontaneous weekend getaway, all I did was pull up the HotelTonight app on my phone. Within minutes, I had booked a great hotel room in the heart of Fredericksburg, Texas.

Historic Main Street

Fredericksburg's pride and joy just may be its historic Main Street, also affectionately referred to as "The Magic Mile." This lovely stretch is lined with great shops and restaurants, and you'll pass charming courtyards and unique little shops along the way. At the end of the historic Main Street stretch is the Marketplatz, which is the beating heart of the city. This square is where all of the city's biggest events take place, and it's the perfect spot to relax and soak in the charm of the city.

Wine Country

Fredericksburg is located in the heart of Texas wine country, which is actually one of the most visited wine regions in the country. This region is known for its perfect combination of sun and soil, which results in wines reminiscent of central Italy and France's Rhone Valley. Since I do love good wine, I knew I couldn't visit Fredericksburg without tasting a few local wines. While you can taste plenty in town at various restaurants and tasting rooms, the best way to discover Texas wine is by visiting the wineries in the countryside.

Parks

There's a good reason why Fredericksburg locals love living here – the Central Texas Hill Country is absolutely beautiful. There are so many great places to enjoy the outdoors in Fredericksburg, including the Blanco State Park, the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, Flatrock Park and Garner State Park. Getting outside and enjoying nature is a favorite pastime among Fredericksburg locals, and I was more than happy to do as the locals do during my stay in Fredericksburg.
