HotelTonight – Indian Springs Hotels Are Available
A lot of people think of Southern California as a very populous area that exists on a massive beach along the Pacific Ocean. That's what's portrayed in movies and television shows, and as such it's not an unreasonable assumption for people to make. However, I've been driving around Southern California for years, and one thing that I've learned is that everywhere you go, you'll find something unique. There are little pocket communities all over the map that are proud of their own culture and identity. That's very true in the Coachella Valley, which is home to communities such as Palm Springs and La Quinta. I was in the desert recently for meetings when I suddenly got a phone call from my home office that those meetings had been canceled that day. Instead of turning around and heading towards home base, I decided to spend those 24 hours experiencing a new community in that part of the world. I wanted to get to know a little place called Indian Springs, so I pulled into the area and changed into more casual clothes. As far as lodging, I'd simply book an Indian Springs hotel room with HotelTonight when I was ready.
The first thing that hit me when I got out of my car and started looking around was the thought that if you hadn't heard of Indian Springs somehow, you may not even know it exists. It's a very small community, as fewer than 1,000 people live in this little enclave. There are quite a few homes and a very nice mobile home park, and everyone in the area seems as though they are retired or basically living that type of lifestyle. That makes for a happy and relaxed place with a corresponding pace of life.
The Country Club
The centerpiece of this little community, as is the case with so many of these neighborhoods in this part of California, is the country club. I drove around it for a bit and then stopped in at the clubhouse for a lemonade. It's known as a golf course with reasonable rates, and the people I spoke to were all regulars on the links there. All of them raved about the course, the laid-back atmosphere there and of course the overall lifestyle of having top-notch golf so close to their homes. These people had found their perfect place in life.
For whatever reason, I was in the mood for Mexican food. Not touristy Mexican food either, but real Mexican food. A lady at the clubhouse told me about a place that was the real deal. I went in and was mesmerized by the classic artwork on the walls and the smells emanating from the kitchen. I had the carnitas plate and it was much more than I could eat on my best day. The meat was juicy and tender and the salsas that came with it were obviously made right there on that day.
HotelTonight – Indian Springs Hotels Just for You
After such a full day, I decided to get some sleep. I opened my HotelTonight app and booked an Indian Springs hotel room in seconds. I could walk there, so that's what I did, falling immediately into bed as soon as my door closed.
