Why We Like It

  • Brass-and-marble design reflects the building's grand history, built by William Randolph Hearst as a home for his famous friends.
  • In a buzzing section of the city, sandwiched between the Theater District and Central Park.
  • Brekkie resto's artwork includes a few obscene (for the time) images added by the artist after a disagreement with Hearst. Try to spot 'em.

Really great value for the money. Great location. SO much better than hotels 50 bucks cheaper for the night in the same immediate area. Classy and clean. It’s not the 5 start but a very solid 4 and super value for the money. Staff was very professional and efficient

Everything from the location to the staff as well as the room were fantastic. My daughter is about to start college at Fordham University in September and we hope to make this our home away from home. Cheers Brian

Dirty room. The bedsheets weren’t even changed when I checked in. They had hair on them. Bathroom was extremely small and didn’t have shampoo. Beds were uncomfortable. Staff was unfriendly. Horrible experience.
