Somebody decided to smoke weed in their room in the middle of the night, waking me up with their stench coming into my room and not able to fall back asleep for a while. I had an early work day the next day.

Vintage was accurate. Also tiny bathrooms! The shower had either scalding hot or freezing cold temps . The toilet clogged. No room service/housekeeping for 3 nights stay.
