Yes, it could use an upgrade, but for the price it was great. Clean, roomy enough, mini fridge, free bottled water, breakfast, etc. Not the most salubrious part of town but close to the Port Authority bus terminal and subways.

Compact room & tight bathroom, but everything works - but be sure to allow time since they have only 2 elevators & guests, housekeeping, and bldg maintenance all share them

It’s an old hotel and didn’t feel that things were very clear. The service was also not good. People were not welcoming and were a bit rude. Will not come back ever again.
