Why We Like It

  • Secluded, cozy vibe belies the proximity to raucous Bourbon Street.
  • Long property history (records date from 1775) is colorful: May Baily's Place, one of the district’s well-known bordellos, now serves as the hotel bar.
  • Need some unwindin' time? Perch on the porch with a cocktail or take a dip in the saltwater courtyard pool.

This is an older budget friendly hotel. The linens were nice and crisp. The water pressure was great. My expectations were low and it exceeded them. The location could not be better.

Bed was super comfortable, great location and friendly staff. The room was massive but a little dated. Not a bad place to stay!

Gross and scary! My door was a patch work project where the safety latch was. The whole place smells damp. I’ve been staying in the quarter for 20 years and never have I ever felt this unsafe.
