Why We Like It
- A literally storied past, thanks to the literary greats who've graced the hotel's famed Round Table.
- Rooms run small (as you'd expect in a historic hotel) but the property recently underwent a multimillion dollar facelift to keep things up to date.
- Central Midtown location a block from Times Square.
- So pet friendly it’s got its own resident feline (with her own email address, natch).

People at reception are very rude and not attentive. They could improve their manners. Room is ok. Service ok. Bar/restaurant downstairs have very attentive waiters. Bel boys also very attentive. Receptionists need to go.
