Construction on the entrance to the lobby for check-in. No stairs and only elevators that were busy.

Made an announcement that they were investigating a fire and to stay in our rooms . Over an hour later and no follow up announcement to say we can leave . Front desk doesn’t pick up the phone. Not following fire safety protocol. Absolutely unacceptable. Easter morning disastrous to be stranded up here not knowing.
