It was a quite comfortable stay in a safe-feeling neighborhood. I would have liked to see a cleaner-looking carpet, and the drapery beside the bed had um, "something" dried on it that should have been noticed since the drapes were closed. It was the first thing I saw. Nevertheless, I slept well.

Check-in desk people need training and the bartender overcharged us for not one, but two drinks we did not order. But otherwise the Stoneleigh is a pretty solid hotel.

Bathroom was spacious with a tub and separate shower. Bed was superb comfy and room and two windows.
