Why We Like It
- 4-year restoration transformed this historic church, schoolhouse, rectory and convent into an incredible boutique escape.
- The Henry Howard-designed buildings even made an appearance in A Confederacy of Dunces. (Can we ask a building for an autograph?)
- Uniquely-styled rooms all rock a European flair, furnished with antiques and pieces constructed by regional artisans.
- Hit the Elysian Bar for coffee, wine, cocktails and small plates. There’s a cafe in the rectory’s former chapel as well.

The area was kinda sketchy at night but it is walking distance to Frenchman st. And about 1 Mike to the waterfront. Very close to French market as well. Your car is safe with parking on premises as they have a security person monitoring anyone who comes in. Very NOLA hotel.

A beautiful hotel with a lot of personality. One of my favorite places to stay in New Orleans.
