New York City - Queens

Why We Like It

  • Occupying a (you guessed it) former paper factory, now transformed into a contemporary, sophisticated place to rest your head.
  • Those antiquey-looking machines you see sprinkled about? All from the factory, and kept to foster the industrial-chic vibe.
  • Speaking of industrial-chic, LIC is a growing, dynamic corner of Queens, full of art, artists and those who like art.

Very nice, efficient staff. Needed towels, they arrived quickly. Asked for extra pillows, got there in 5 minutes-much faster than any premium chain hotel! Room was spartan but checked all the boxes. ($96 on Hotel Tonight!)

The tv didn’t work. The heat needed to be blasted and it was still freezing. It felt like a window was open. Luckily only here for 1 night but the bare necessities were lacking.
