Lovely spot. Love the bar, pool, and room. Staying in the Tenderloin not my favorite part.

The staff is amazing here! Most comfortable bed ever. Love the history and little zine that lets you know of amazing opportunities like that you can go to the Japantown baths or to the gym nearby. The attention to details are on point from lights to robes to pillows. One of my favorite hotels ever.
Lazy hipster checkin, waking up to crappy music blaring on the patio outside and NO amenities in the room (coffee, etc) make this a facade of a nice place to stay. Pay for the idea not any sort of actual luxury. It's a glorified dorm.
